The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
